This geared-motor HVLS fan solves that with spot-free, whole-floor cooling. A Nord (Germany) integrated gear-motor drives aviation aluminum-magnesium alloy airfoil blades at roughly 50 rpm (max 55–100 RPM by model), controlled by a Danfoss (Denmark) or ABB (Switzerland) variable-frequency drive rated for high temperature, dust, oil fume, and long-hour running. The fan pushes a wide vertical air column down to floor level, where it spreads into a 1–3 m horizontal air layer at an adjustable 1–5 m/s. Because the airflow is broad and slow, it reaches every corner of a 2,000+ m² open workshop rather than creating one cold spot and a dozen dead zones. Dual-row deep groove ball bearings reduce gear-motor load, and high-strength bolts, dual-protection 1,000 kg wire ropes, a safety ring, integral blade-chassis construction, and VFD auto alarm keep the unit safe overhead. When paired with existing AC, the same fan saves 30%+ energy.
