A helicopter fan for industrial space gets its name honestly: from below it looks like a slow-spinning overhead helicopter rotor, and it moves air the same way a rotor does, but at the 50 rpm range an HVLS fan uses instead of flight RPM. The giant overhead blade disc sweeps across a vast industrial floor, pushing a vertical column of air down to the ground where it flattens into a 1–3 m high horizontal layer that can cover 2,000+ m² in open space. Air velocity is adjustable from 1 to 5 m/s, so the same fan can stir a light breeze on a mild day or push a deeper column on a hot day. Aviation aluminum-magnesium alloy blades with an airfoil profile and streamlined tail wing minimize drag, while the Nord integrated gear-motor turns the large rotor with strong, quiet, maintenance-free torque, and the Danfoss or ABB VFD governs speed under tough conditions.
For an industrial space that does not match a standard catalog size, we offer structure customization: blade diameter, blade count, voltage and mounting beam type can be arranged to the actual building, and we build from your technical drawings. This matters for a giant rotor because the mounting structure and required clearance drive whether the fan can safely run, and a bespoke build avoids forcing the space into a one-size rotor.
